When we started producing the SF-99 servo bore repair system, we only had three kits.  Those kits, the AOD, AODE, and CD4E all used the same size tooling.  As time went on, we added several kits that all used the same tooling (the 4L30, 4L80, 5RW, A4LD, and AX-OD) until we reached the AX-INT.  For a long time, the AX-INT was the only kit we offered that used different sized reamers and guides.  However, as we have continued to expand our product line, we have started to use more and more sizes.  Today, we have enough different kits in enough different sizes to provide four different tooling groups.  These groups we now call "series" and have named them after colors.  The advantage to this is that we can now allow mechanics to expand into more kits without buying excess tooling.  All pre-existing tooling is still current.  So if you have a 5RW Master Kit, just realize that that is a "Black Series" kit and that you're tooling will work perfectly with any other Black series sub-kit.

The one problem that still exists with the "series" system is that of drivers.  You see, even though all of the kits in each series can share the same tooling to ream out their servo bores, different platforms have different sized servo pins, and thus require different sized pilots on their drivers.  To deal with this, we have started a separate identification system for the drivers.  Any driver can be purchased separately for $10.00
